Get Ready… the Rain Is Here

During prayer group one morning, as a sister lamented how “messed up” young people seem today, I sensed the Holy Spirit whisper something deeply moving to my heart:

"Young people, even those who were fortunate enough to make it to birth, have faced nefarious campaigns against them every single day of their lives."

What was the Father’s heart in that moment?
Not judgment. Not frustration.

Compassion.

Pure compassion and love for His hurting children.

And friend, I believe that compassion and love are being poured out in a fresh way right now — transforming lives and ready to transform our culture.

Do you see it?

• In February 2023, students at Asbury University worshiped day and night for 16 days, unable to pull away because the Presence of God was so strong.
• In May 2025, 5,000 students filled Baylor’s Foster Pavilion to worship and hear the Gospel.
• This summer, 45,000 people crowded into Angel Stadium for the Harvest Crusade, with 5,500 publicly choosing to follow Christ.
• Even NFL players circled in prayer mid-field with opposing team players to pray for an injured player. 

And these are just a few glimpses.

The Lord told me last year that Asbury was “just a foretaste of Glory Divine.” Then He gave me this phrase for 2025: “On Earth as it is in Heaven.”

Yes, the spiritual battle is raging — we feel the strain of it every day. But at the very same time, the Spirit is breaking through with sudden answers to long-prayed prayers and unmistakable signs of His Presence.

Signs of what is happening in the spiritual realm can be seen in the natural:

• At our Phoenix end-of-May retreat, rain began to fall right in the middle of both testimony times — the first June 1st rainfall we've seen in over 100 years!
• In Northern Arizona when I was listening to a podcast, just as Andrew Whalen began to share about God thundering His justice, the skies erupted in thunder and poured for half an hour straight.

Heaven is speaking. And it sounds like rain.

Larry Sparks recently summarized it this way on Dutch Sheets’ Give Him 15: First come the scattered showers of revival. Then the steady rain. And finally… the storm. Not a storm of destruction, but a storm of Divine visitation — an unstoppable outpouring ushering multitudes into the Kingdom and transforming culture.

Brenna, I believe we are entering that stage now. The showers are becoming storms.

And the question is: Do you want to get splashed?

Jesus, the Living Water, is here to satisfy the deepest thirst, heal tormented minds, set captives free, and awaken a generation to their true identity in Him.

Let’s lift our eyes with expectancy. The rain has begun — and the storm of revival is coming.

Update 9/23/25: Ten days after this post, the world watched as Truth teller Charlie Kirk was martyred...then, in honor of Charlie, less than two weeks after that we saw 100,000 people stand in a stadium (in my "backyard"!) to sing praises to God for hours and listen to the Gospel Truth proclaimed by the lips of our national government officials. THE RAIN IS HERE!
